The chart shows the worldwide advertising expenditure year over year change in Q1 2012. Print advertising continues to lose ground in North America & Europe. Compare to the other major regions and the difference may lie in the digital infrastructure. As the digital infrastructure improves, it may benefit to reduce dependence on print media.
